Amongst the titles here can be found the story of E.T, where a boy named Elliot risks life and limb so he can get a monkey looking alien back home... So when I struggled to store today with 2 bags of titles (some of them highly desireable) I met a supervisor called Elliot, albeit a ginger mulletted one. Positive memories came flooding back from my childhood and I had a smile on my face, and so it remained... In contrast though, this was nothing like that charming story and resembled more a Alfred Hitchcock flick... 30 titles MAX can be LOOKED AT by a member of staff according to Elliot. Where is the sense in that process? There were lots of top titles not even viewed by El-liot... No time apparently, according to our lacklustre supervisor/cast model. Even though he wasn't doing anything when I arrived During the plot, an embarrassing situation ensued, where the star of the show was informed that he can take his luggage (games for exchange) home with him! All for not signing on the dotted line because a couple of the titles were worth a measly 1p... Not enough fuel for the spaceship to get far. Elliot promised to test E.Ts RAM which he wished to exchange at the start of the film, that didn't happen at the grand finale, he didn't have time... Overall this wasn't very PG... Many customers saw the rehearsal, Elliot looked a wee bit daft, and E.T didn't get home. What a shame. I think CEX Cas need to review the Elliot cast member, as he didn't display any skills worthy of any position in any customer facing role. Perhaps the rot stems further up? Who knows? Not a great facade for a business to have. I hope the new cast are trained with a different attitude and view to customers... I doubt it (being the smart extra terrestrial that I am). I don't think E.T will visit planet earth again. Pesky Humanoids.
