I've got my magazines, bread and anything else I need from this shop for 30yrs. Always received a lovely welcome, never found a more helpful staff. I would say that Ashwina and Kirit go out of the way to help and provide shopping needs. Can't speak highly enough of the service they provide above and beyond a, normal shop.

I visit here regularly to collect parcels and always receive a helpful friendly service. I have also witnessed the owners kindness & helpfulness to elderly customers on a number of occasions. I always love the fresh bakery products on the counter. Highly recommended.

For many years now I've always had a first class, friendly, and helpful service at J.K.News & Wines when making just a small purchase or collecting parcels that require personal identity confirmation such as a driver's licence, passport, utility bill, NOT a Supermarket Club card or similar! I've witnessed on more than one occasion the downright rudeness of some customers who seem incapable of understanding the simple reason why hard identification is required before their parcel can be released to them. I wonder what the complainers on here would say if their parcel had been handed over, without question before they got there, to someone who just knew them casually and that they were expecting a parcel...and the 'someone' kept it for themself? J.K.News & Wines do so much and more for the local community and are respected by all their customers except those whingers who expect everything to be done to suit them regardless of the negative consequence for other people involved. Short answer...whingers go and whinge somewhere else!
