We needed some information for our remortgaging process that she wasnt sure if she could get but instead of just shutting us down she was on the phone to another branch to find out and arranging for us to collect the documents from Ponte (as Cas mortgage advisor wasnt in on that day). After losing my bank cards I called in to inform them, I was shown a phone & given a phone number & then told to get on with it ! The computerised voice on the end of the phone takes you around in circles for half an hour, then you eventually talk to a human. Whereas Virgin over the road saw me on a one to one basis & within 10 minutes everything was sorted out !

Wanted to open a bank account. Its says open on line or in branch. Nice lady says you have to do it on line, if I waned to do it on line I wouldn't of trailed down. Then says you can do it here on your phone so after 20 or so minutes I gave up and went home.. so what it should say is open account up on line or come down to Halifax branch and still do it all yourself. What happened to someone sat at the other side of a desk helping you sort it out
