        Lovely! We went for a themed event, so I'm not sure what it's normally like but I can describe how it is during an event. The castle is great and the grounds are very peaceful. There is information to learn on the inside of the castle and it's great for a wander around (pretty good view our the windows from the mezzanine level). The lake and surrounding flora is beautiful, very tranquil and relaxing. I couldn't believe how green the grass and trees were! And the bluebells were gorgeous.

        Had a great time! Visited the castle for the first time and can't wait to go again :). Went to see the excaliber event and it was a blast. Amesome atmosphere and so nice to see the public also get invited to join the show! Came home with a sword and a great memory! Looking forward to coming again on the 28th for the other knight shows!!

        We visited here for the first time in ages for their Excalibur event. A really good day out - the actors were friendly - they posed for photos and happily battled the youngest member of our party too. Just the right amount of stalls too - we left with a new sword and helmet. Great food stalls too
