What's going on with came gate products? Have been installing and recommending you for years, now it seems the quality has fallen dramatically. Last two installs have been plagued by failures one of which the customer has junked the came kit and gone for bft at his own expense. The only thing i can't fault is the tech team which seem embarrassed by the kit being supplied.

I contacted them with a general enquiry and was frankly shocked by the way in which I was spoken to. The person I dealt with in the technical team was very rude, obstructive and confrontational. I would strongly suggest finding an alternative company to deal with.

On 19/3/21 I called this company and asked for details of an installer to install their equipment. The salesman was arrogant, confrontational and didnt bother to send me the details that I asked for, incredible!

My experience with a Came UK approved gate installer / repair and service company isn't very good really. My swing gate developed a fault that was diagnosed by the service person as "you need a new no 2 motor" costing 565 pound. I googled the part that in fact cost 265 pound hence an install cost of 300 pound. The motor can be removed in 5 minutes, two bolts Installed in 5 minutes by again 2 bolts. The electrical connection takes another minute, two small scews to release the small plug. I kind off suggested that the price was high but reluctantly agreed. The person left never to be in contact again! How do I know that the electrical connection is easy, 2 small screws. Well, as I didn't hear back from the installer I disconnected the motor myself only to find the the electrical plug held in place by the two screws had come loose. After fixing and installing the motor back in its place, it worked great and continued to do so for several months now.
