Jurys Inn East Midlands Airport

The rooms were roomy . The bed was comfortable. The staff - the staff we saw were brilliant , from the guy behind the bar that night, to the guy behind the desk in the early hours and Ken setting up the breakfasts . Oh and the two lovely ladies on the desk in the evening ! All brilliant. The woman that took our food order wasn't very good though . Only had a small appetite so ordered a child's meal & dessert but was told I wasn't allowed , so found something else , the dessert was still put on the bill although it was no longer wanted. She randomly added spag bol to the order ( this was removed ) the jug of water had floaty bits in it and the food ( mac&cheese and ribs) really wasn't very nice at all. The continental breakfast had a good selection and the main breakfast was lovely ! Didn't stay long enough to check if it was good for location for anything but airport. The room had plenty of space . Had everything we needed and the bed was comfortable and super quiet !!!

The rooms along the very long corridor are in good condition and the windows do a good job in cutting down the noise from outside. But the room I stayed in for one night which is on the first floor up the stairs near the reception had very creaky floorboards, less storage space, looked older and the noise of the busy traffic and aircraft was far more noticeable.
