        A very good tip and usually very helpful, but today my husband visited the tip with our trailer, which was quite full due to us having new carpet fitted today and 'stuff' we were disposing of. The trailer ramp was jammed due to someone having put the locking pin in the wrong way round. My husband asked if he could borrow a hammer to tap the pin, in order to free it, but was told they wouldn't lend him one as they don't lend out tools! My husband is 76, and ended up having to climb numerous times in and out of the trailer, which has quite high sides, in order to empty it. Some of the carpet and 'stuff' was very heavy and he came home looking exhausted! Where has the Christmas Spirit gone Dimmer, you are usually so helpful?
