Carymoor Environmental Centre

I had to write a review after spending a wonderful morning at Carymoor with my two children at the Wild Spring event. Karen and Nat provided a really exciting and rich learning environment with so many different activities to engage the families attending. Both facilitated the experience brilliantly allowing everyone total freedom to explore and express themselves creatively. Personal favourites were pond dipping and kite making. My huge thanks to the staff at Carymoor for the brilliant ecological work you are doing at the centre and providing such wonderful events (a lot of which are free to Mendip residents). Im already excited to return again soon.

Fantastic project! Really great place to volunteer, nice people and no shortage of work to be done! Brilliant use of the former landfill, some lovely environments have been created, tons of wildlife and some great views!

Highly recommend. The centre is well run and extremely informative. The staff are caring, friendly, they made our day out fun. They are extremely well set up for groups of children. Thank you!

Spent a brilliant day here with Anglo Saxon themed activities. Gary and Nat were enthusiastic and made the day enjoyable for all. Highly recommend.

Carymoor is a magical place whereby people of all walks of life and age can learn how to take care of their environment. A inclusive educational provision and sanctuary run by a enthusiastic team.
