Had issues finding a solicitor in 2020 for what I needed before going to Banks Kelly. They were easy to work with and very quick. Charges were transparent and no surprises. Thanks.

I highly recommend Amy Harvey. I planned to post this review a while ago, but needed time (and a clear mind!) to write a review that gave justice to the excellent service and support I received from Amy Harvey on an employment dispute. I have never had to instruct a solicitor and I never envisaged being in a situation where I would have to take on a big corporate. It is one of the most daunting experiences. Before approaching Banks Kelly, I spoke briefly to a caseworker in another law firm, and a lawyer from a local law centre before both of which I speculatively approached and who didnt provide the reassurance I needed to proceed with the case. Amy Harvey, on the other hand, came HIGHLY recommended from a mutual friend. Even though I was nervous, my friend encouraged me to contact Amy that very minute. So I called close to 5pm, concerned that I might be catching her at the end of the day with limited time for our initial conversation but no, even if I had, Amy was patient, attentive and supportive from the very start. I share this because it is a testament to Amy as a lawyer. From the very beginning, and throughout my case, Amy was supportive, transparent and honest. She was quick to respond and always made time. In addition, her knowledge and application of the law is absolutely exceptional. Lastly, she gave me the reassurance I needed to proceed with the case. Despite it being a trying experience, I am so grateful for Amy, her legal expertise and support, which has restored my faith in the kindness of others. So much so that I have recommended her to every and anyone who even hints at needing a lawyer! She also covers a number of areas so if I ever need legal support in the future, I know exactly where to go. Thank you again Amy for everything.

I had an issue with a frozen bank account. I was not sure why this had happened. I had contacted solicitors and none of them would give me the time of day. Sonia Ahmad, called me up and Sonia was the only solicitor to show my some sympathy (e.g. could I pay my bills), none of the others did. Sonia seemed very professional and she seemed like an expert in the matter. I was getting so angry at the whole situation and I wanted it resolved. I sent Sonia all the information and Sonia and her team were really friendly and nice. Sonia is very stern and I am glad she was on my side. She wrote a letter to the bank and 18 hours later. Action was taken (I got my funds back). Baring in mind I was getting no response from the bank whatsoever. Sonia is very professional, on your side and she knows her job very well indeed. I would be happy to recommend and use Sonia again at Banks Kelly.
