Rodolfo Acevedo Rodrguez is a leading authority in the field of digital recording, using laser scanning, photogrammetry, high-resolution photography, and CAD line drawings, to produce accurate 3D records of buildings, artefacts and architectural models, to 0.5mm accuracy. He uses the results to create fly-throughs that create a complete virtual experience of the interiors and exteriors of buildings, in addition to providing highly accurate plans, sections and elevations. He is currently producing the first 3D record of Sir Christopher Wrens unrealised Great Model for St Pauls Cathedral. It was built in oak and pear wood in 1673-74, and was made large enough for a man to walk through. This was King Charles IIs instruction to Wren when he ordered the model in December 1672. Rodolfo is now recreating that experience for the modern-day visitor to St Pauls Cathedral. Rodolfo is a superb practitioner in his field and highly professional in every aspect of fulfilling a commission for a client.
