We had a great long weekend at The Stables at Casterton Grange. It was very comfortable and we enjoyed the upside-down living concept (bright living room and kitchen upstairs). The setting is very private, in the middle of beautiful countryside. We also found it very well located for all sorts of day trips and activities in the Lake District. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful - and provided us with great walking and restaurant recommendations. Thoroughly recommended!

We had a magical weekend at your fabulous property celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary with our family. Patrick was the perfect host & couldnt do enough to make our stay so enjoyable. The house has been beautifully restored & it was such a treat to stay in such a truly wonderful house. We truly felt like Lord & Lady of the Manor! We would love to return & would definitely recommend to anyone having any doubts about booking. This is the perfect venue to have a large gathering of friends or family. Thanks for everything, you really helped to make our Anniversary such a special event.
