Our daughter Scarlet had always achieved at primary school but the school itself was small and difficult to see how she would measure in a bigger environment. We started sending Scarlet to Ramona in year 4. Mainly because we felt Scarlet was not fulfilling her potential. She thoroughly enjoyed her lessons and to begin with was behind where she should be. Soon she was up to speed then excelling in her maths and English. Eventually sitting exams for jags, Caterham, Woldingham . Also two grammars nonsuch and Wallington, I cannot tell you how thrilled we were that she not only got accepted for all schools but also awarded an academic scholarship for the three independents. Ramona has been tutoring my 14 year old daughter in GCSE Maths tuition for over 6 months now and we have been delighted with the results. My daughter has said how supportive and clear Ramona is, always asking if the children have any specific questions or concerns before they begin the class. She also makes sure everyone is clear on the task at hand and is working on a problem. On top of this Ramona has a warm, friendly and supportive nature. We also feel the extra tuition has definitely helped my daughter understand more during her own school Maths lessons and often feels ahead of the game when she has already completed similar exercises. I would highly recommend Ramona as a GCSE Maths tutor.

Both of our children have received maths tuition and we would wholeheartedly recommend Ramona. Our son had completely fallen out of love with Maths and his grades were falling - Ramona reignited his confidence and enjoyment and weve seen a tremendous turn around in just one term. Ramona has the lovely ability to support and educate with a friendly warm manner but still challenge and coax children into stretching themselves.

So pleased we found Excellence Tuition, really has made such a difference to our child's confidence. They attempt questions which before they would have hesitated at. The online lessons are practical, the group sizes thought through ensuring each child has individual guidance from Ramona during a lesson. The pace of the lesson is maintained and adjusted to meet the needs of the children participating, to ensure each is making their own progress, whilst working alongside others. As the live session runs, Ramona's tone and dialogue remain positive and she has a good energy in encouraging her students. The length of lesson and timing fits well following a day at school. As a parent, I am able to speak with Ramona at intervals to gain an updates of progress and current focuses being worked on.
