Visited with a 4 & 6 year old and took part in a sensory trail around the museum. We were really impressed and the kids were entertained on a rainy afternoon. Lots to see and do including lots of play elements for the children such as dressing up, castle and doll house toys and the train set was a big hit. All the staff were friendly and kind to the children. The 2 price for the trail included a trail booklet to fill in, some craft items to make and a small prize on completion. We spent a relaxed couple of hours exploring and playing.

Beautiful place to visit. It's free which is brilliant and my children love to play in the grounds. The staff are so welcoming and a lovely little cafe and shop too.
