Drove here to quickly buy some of the bee range cups needed for the next day. Got stuck in traffic and when I arrived it was 5 min to closing(16:55). I ran to the door but sign already said closed. The lady inside behind the till just mouthed sorry. 40 min driving for nothing. You can at least quickly open the doors for one customer if it's still 5 min till your actual closing time.

Oxfam refused to deduct money off a tea service yesturday . Oxfam used customer shaming in a charity shop . We asked for a reduction due to cracked cups . Our request was turned down rudely .When we got home there were a further three damaged one plate even glued together. We will be in contact today . Otherwise we will contact head office. Oxfam should trade in an honourable fashion .

I have been here on numerous occasions over the years, and often find it to be a very useful shop, handily located in the centre of the village. The majority of the staff are lovely, though unfortunately on a couple of occasions, I have encountered a slightly unapologetically snooty attitude arising from a couple of misunderstandings, which is a bit offputting. That aside, I would recommend the place overall.
