Red Luck

Noodles tasted like rubber with absolutely no moisture. Spring rolls tasted like soap. Duck was dry n tasted like scraps of meat that needed using up and was served with sliced lettuce.

It tasted nice but wasn't very filling because it seemed bulked out with cheaper ingredients. The crispy duck wasn't crispy at all, it was sliced and was in the tub on top of lettuce, cucumber and spring onion, never seen that before, less duck and more salad, felt a bit ripped off in terms of quantity of duck. The chicken chow mein had about 50% bean sprouts in it, again odd, bulking out with cheaper ingredients..like a forced healthy Chinese, nice but not what you want for a take away treat so pretty much still hungry not long after eating. Crispy sea weed nice, but tasted far too salty. Just very different from any Chinese we've had before. Duck curry nice, I don't suppose you can bulk that out with veg can you. Would recommend if on a diet, otherwise go elsewhere.

Had a takeaway there once before and it was okay. This time not so good. Ribs were fatty and tough. King prawn curry was purely prawns and sauce. No veg what so ever. Only good thing about the meal was the Singapore Chow Mein and the two young ladies behind the counter who was very welcoming. In need of a refurb as first impressions are not so good.
