We had a lovely afternoon tea at The Gate Hangs Well & Seasons for a group of 26 of us. I could not fault a thing. The staff were really attentive and helpful, from first booking through to us leaving. They ensured all allergies and dietary requirements were catered for. The food was tasty, freshly made and lots of it. The quality was first class too, with salad served with the sandwiches which was a lovely touch. The scones were enormous and then there was a great selection of finger cakes to top it off. We had the restaurant upstairs all to ourselves which was great for a group. If you are looking for somewhere for afternoon tea I would highly recommend The Gate Hangs Well & Seasons, its one of the best afternoon teas I have had.
