        We had a wonderful time at Weavers Cottage, it was cosy, welcoming, beautifully decorated and a delicious cake left for us on arrival - all good! John and Amanda were very hospitable, checking in that everything was ok, giving tips on local walks and allowing us to plunder their apple tree. The setting next to the village church was lovely and local amenities were great. Roots Farm Shop and Swainby Bike Hire particularly recommended! Thanks so much John and Amanda.         Weavers Cottage is truly beautiful. myself and my family stayed for 1 week over the christmas period. The cottage has everything you could need and want, from the lovely decor to the warm cosy log burners. (we are missing the place already) The village and surrounding countryside is picturesque with great walks from the doorstep and local welcoming country pubs. The owners John and Amanda are very welcoming and really helpful, the welcome treats of mincepies, christmas cake and dog biscuits were just lovely. We look forward to coming back to this beautiful Cottage and would recomend to all. many thanks from the Stables family
