I have just finished an 8 week shape up challenge with Jason. Which was 2 nights a week for the 8 weeks, an hour each time. He did circuits, studio type classes and box fit. He would give us different options for each exercise and made sure our technique was correct. He also asked if there was any particular exercises or workouts we would like him to do. He was on hand to talk through any nutrition queries we had. The group was always a good laugh and very sweaty. Jason is friendly and very easy to talk to. Would highly recommend him to anyone and the shape up challenge is a good price compared to other similar groups.

Would highly recommend Jason, found him very easy to work with and friendly making me feel at ease and relaxed within a busy gym environment. He goes above and beyond to help you reach your personal goals, providing you with any workout plans needed or meal plans and a lot of other guides with lots more information when youre away from the gym. Definitely good value for your money especially when booking in block sessions with him, and definitely made me a lot more confident and more motivated in and out of the gym. I definitely felt I was on the right track after a few weeks of training with Jason with muscle growth but more focusing on weight loss within our plan set, he will also cater to your needs and any injuries or soreness he will alter your session to avoid any further injuries occurring and change any exercises you may not particularly enjoy. He will get the best out of you, pushing you and ensuring your technique and form are correct. I would and will definitely rebook with Jason again in future if I ever find myself off track.

I was gifted a series of 16 sessions with Jason over 8 weeks, on his shape up challenge. After a 2 month rest from the gym I was out of shape, and wanted to tone up and lose a bit of weight. I'd done lots of weight based exercises at another gym, but these sessions were a mixture of weight and cardio circuits, with a couple of boxercise sessions, which I found more enjoyable. Jason was great at giving technique advice to keep me safe and get the best from the exercises. This also helped with my solo visits to the gym, giving me structure to my workouts. The sessions varied in content to keep it fun, and he listened to what we wanted to work on. He gave loads of support information via his website, including nutrition advice which was very helpful. There was always advice at the end of each session, and helpful comments and encouragement. Overall I gained muscle mass and lost fat, changing shape over the 2 months. I recommend Jason as a personal trainer and coach if you like someone who is not loud and in your face, but confident, competent and personable. I'm going back for another course of 8 weeks starting next week. Can't wait!

My training sessions with Jason really helped me get started on my fitness journey. It initially seemed quite daunting but he really helped build my confidence through encouragement and gradually increasing exercise intensity. From my last check during my training, I actually attained my goal of reducing fat and gaining muscle and I feel so much stronger than I used to. He is very focused and I believe his training would definitely be very useful for anyone who wants to commit to a fitness lifestyle.

I would highly recommend Jason as he is the best personal trainer I have ever worked with. In 5 months, I made excellent progress towards achieving my goals. I lost the weight I wanted to but, more importantly, my strength and fitness levels improved dramatically. I replaced a lot of body fat with muscle, and I am really happy with the changes in my physique, posture and overall wellbeing (and with the compliments I get from others). It is clear that Jason is very knowledgeable, but he applies his expertise in such a great way with outstanding motivational skills and support. In addition, where Jason adds real value is the all-round nutritional and wellbeing support that he provides for his clients. You receive a comprehensive package of supporting information that is both easy to read and easy to use! As one of Jasons older clients, I particularly appreciated the way that Jason still encouraged and motivated me to work as hard as any other client, while being careful not to cause injury, checking out reaction to previous workout, and taking care and time to do proper warmups and post workout stretches. I shortly have to move away from Carlisle but, in different circumstances I would definitely have been rebooking sessions with Jason for the future. The all-round fitness, nutrition and wellbeing support that Jason offers stands him apart from other trainers I have worked with and means that he also offers excellent value for money.
