Asda Optician

My husband and I both had eye tests at Carlisle Asda opticians today. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We hadnt been for two years and it was a different optician from the one we saw on our last visit. He was very friendly and made us feel very much at ease. This will be the fourth time we have used Asda for eye tests and new glasses and have always been satisfied with the service weve received. Thank you!

God awful experience. Turned up for appointment merely 7 minutes late as we left early but still got stuck behind a tractor on the journey. Woman at the desk didnt hesitate to treat my partner rudely and say with a horrible attitude that we shouldve called ahead as my appointment had already been given to someone else. I cant make phone calls due to anxiety, which is something I wear a lanyard for - a lanyard I was wearing as we visited the store. My partner couldnt have called as he was driving. We couldnt have predicted wed get stuck in traffic. We werent even given a chance to explain our lateness or rebook an appointment - we were treated with horrific disrespect as soon as we got there and I highly doubt well ever return. Extremely disappointed with todays visit. Do better.

Called 5 times over the course of a day with no answer, decided to just travel the 6 miles to the store, maybe grab some stuff while I'm there, went and spoke to 1 of the 2 receptionists standing and asked asked the next time I'd be able to get an appointment would be to be bluntly told "september" . maybe need to have a word about the professionalism.
