Shopmobility

Absolutely lovely ladies that run the shopmobility here. For 2 you can hire a scooter for the day, the cheapest hire weve come across so far. Its so great these services are here as my fianc has slight mobility issues, so for him its a lifeline. Highly recommended, and we will be back again if in the area.

I am appealed by the way in which the lady I care for is treated when she goes to use the scooters. They all leg it out of there faster than if you said hey macarena. She and I feel when we walk in as if we are something nasty. She has used theses scooters for a long time and this is how she has been treated for the last two years which I think is wrong. We used to go in ones every two weeks now it is ONLY IF WE APPSERLOTY HAVE TO, as of the way we were treated. I Also used to volunteer my time there they were nice but if you say something wrong or don't agree with look out. They used to offer cups of coffee/tea now they don't. It was lovely to see people from all walks of live come in and sit and talk to you and get some joy out of it. I think a lot of it was that they just loved to talk to you and get to know people and for a lot of them we(the volunteers) were more or less the only people they saw on a regular basis. There service use to be a reasonable price now it is not so much.
