They happily accepted a 500 deposit from me and then they said they will order the flooring in. I contacted them 2 weeks later to ask when my flooring will be getting fitted and she gave me an attitude on the phone and said they can't order anything until we pay a further 375 towards the 500 deposit, which is fine but why did you not ask for that when my dad paid the 500 two weeks earlier? You were happy with the 500 deposit and then 2 weeks later you demanded more money. Its your fault for not mentioning that at the start when I picked my flooring out in your shop. The women in the shop are rude, dishonest, unprofessional and unorganised. The woman on the phone was nasty and she obviously doesn't know how to deal with customers in a professional manner because she got defensive - trying to cover herself. You will lose a lot of customers in future if you continue to be rude like that, a nasty attitude like that isn't good for business. And the measure man - Dave, who measured my floors has anger issues, he arrived at my flat very angry because I told SM that he forgot to put the front door area on my quote, he came knocking on my door after I complained to SM, he was angry and bad tempered. I had to get SM to correct my quote 3 times. But because they are unprofessional they will probably blame the customers for there mistakes. You said you tried to email me about the deposit but that doesn't justify the fact you were dishonest about the deposit from the start and you also had my mobile number so you could of easily phoned me, you made no effort at all to phone me. So who is in the wrong here? You. They also left my new carpet covered in mud, dust and grass from there dirty boots. The fitters didn't clean up after themselves, I had to clean up after they left. And they also left a brown circle stain on my window sil from where he had his energy drink can which I had to paint over because the mark wouldn't wipe off. There was dints and bumps in my bathroom floor after they fitted it. Very lazy sloppy thoughtless fitters. I bet they wouldn't act like that in there own homes Sep 6th, 2021
