        The new pool is disappointing. We took our 3 girls swimming Saturday morning. There were swimming lessons in both the smaller pool and half of the main pool. The main pool then felt cramped. My kids wanted to splash about and play, but I was very conscious that there were many adults wanting to swim, the space wasn't big enough for both swimming and playing. I heard comments from other swimmers also complaining about how busy the pool was. There were just over 20 people in the 2 lanes that we had been allocated, fine for lane swimming but not if kids want to play tag in the water. Such a shame, this is Carlisle's main pool, and it's too small, particularly if lessons are going on during public sessions. I would only consider returning if we could use the full pool without lessons going on, and without the lanes.

        Functional, but dated facilities. Cheap way to swim if you sign up for a membership package. Staff always polite and friendly. Book swimming sessions via the app. Swimming moving to new pool at the Sands Centre 14/11/22
