Grain Connect

UPDATE: Contractors have been pretty considerate so far, work has been noisy as is to be expected, but it's been fairly efficient. I've updated my review score for now.. Don't use these people. They put up a advanced works notice on a lamp post over 6 months ago and then put a letter through the door a day before stating work. They use any sub contractor to devolve responsibility too. Now I have time booked off work whilst they are being super loud in the morning. They also expect everyone on a large street to magically move their cars somewhere..

Digging at 7:30am? We had contractors rip up the street 3 months ago. They left a right mess. Now Grain are digging up the same streets... Utter idiocy. Noisy and leave the street looking terrible. If this is the the state of the installation team I dread to think what the service will be like. Avoid like the plague.

This was the state my car was in when I arrived home from work. No notice given to any works being carried out. Nobody spoke English to answer and questions. I had my friends funeral to attend to the following morning and had to rush around trying to find someone to clean my car on the morning of the funeral. It was very upsetting . The road looks bloody awful and filthy dirty. Absolute cowboys!

Just switched over to grain connect from my previous provider and i dont know whats with all these negative reviews all sounding like a bunch of karens! I am now getting roughly 3x more internet speed for the same price and no dodgy in contract price increases. Installation was a smooth and seamless experience with the contractors removing the brickwork and re-laying it making it look untouched. Contractors were very polite and respectful. Would highly recommend!

Installation was great and staff have been friendly. I pay for 500mbps and I'm recieving the most unstable internet I have experienced. The speed rapidly fluctuates and you almost never get what you pay for, at present I'm getting 50mbps when I'm right next to the router. Ethernet isn't much better. Signal from the router is poor and very weak, probably why theyy offer free WiFi boosters, but why should this be needed? Finally and one of the biggest reasons I strongly suggest not joining grain, is you have to use their supplied router and you have zero access to the settings. It literally feels as if I'm paying to rent internet access at a public space. I can't change the password h less I contact grain, you can't tweak router settings. Don't join grain unless they've changed this, you will regret it.
