The Maharaj

Working in the area and I will honestly say this is one of the best Indian curries I have experienced, I live in the north east (South Shields) have the best in our door step. I had garlic chicken and my husband had chicken madras with rice and chips, Very good quality meat and no oil to be hovering about. The most fresh door to door delivery and the best garlic and chilli nan I have ever tasted. Thankyou

Another fantastic meal delivered quickly, hot and clearly freshly cooked. The only takeaway that listens when I ask for no corriander. Thank you Vegetarian options: So many options!

Firstly, please note I dont live in the area just work and stay in hotels. The Maharaj, the food wasn't too bad, naan, madrs sauce, chicken biryani and chips, the chips were a let down as they were under cooked, abit longer and they would have been perfect, but not going to say avoid as i said the food wasn't too bad infact try it you may enjoy it. Too the driver, this is why i've given 3 stars, in hotels never leave the food in reception and then ring the customer to tell them you've left it there, you were about to do the same thing again when you were at the correct hotel, luckily i was stood outside and asked if you were from Maharaj, use ggogle maps or satnav, both hotels have different post codes, i know as i stayed at the one you delivered to first. Gripe over.
