Ken and Natalie Patton were highly recommended to us by someone in passing at Carlisle cemetery. We (our immediate family) contacted Ken while my much loved terminally ill mother (age 57) was still with us. My mam wanted to plan her own funeral in order to make things easier for us at a time she knew we would suffer a great deal. When Ken first visited our home it was clear the pride and professionalism he demonstrated. Ken clearly and sympathetically talked through how all the arrangements would take place, and the role of himself and wife Natalie during the process. While we knew how brave Mam was Ken also took the time to point out the strength and courage of what Mam was doing, and that her plans/choices were there to help us, which I fully respected. Ken described that we would be using his services at the time of need, so as not to discuss when it happens or offend anyone. The premises Ken and Natalie use as the funeral parlour is tastefully finished to a high standard and is a very calming setting. Natalie did a stunning job of dressing and making up my Mam. No request was too much, we were able to visit Mam at the funeral parlour whenever suited us. Ken and Natalie were easily contactable anytime. I cannot stress enough the professionalism and empathy Ken and Natalie display is second to none, and to think as a married couple they are supporting people through the toughest time of their life day in, day out. Theyre a couple who even though they were working, we didnt feel like a job to them. Well never forget your support and really appreciate your help.

After having 2 family funerals to arrange in less than 5 months ( first my mam then my youngest brother) from start to finish Ken and Natalie were beyond helpful,, very caring, professional and treat the family with the most amazing dignity.

I recently lost my father and Ken Patton was recommended to my sister and I by a family friend. Ken came to my father`s home where he very patiently and kindly went over funeral arrangements. He offered suggestions and walked us through every step of the process. His wisdom and guidance was much appreciated. Ken has a passion for what he does and it shows. Both he and his wife Natalie are extremely caring individuals who treat both the living and deceased, with dignity and respect. Celebrant, June Hearsey presided over the funeral. She did an outstanding job with my father`s eulogy and truly captured his essence. Between, Ken, Natalie and June, the funeral went off without a hitch. There were tears and laughter as we celebrated the life of a very special man. I highly recommend Ken patton Funeral Directors.
