How many breweries are doing "test" brews during lockdown? This small local brewery are. And getting it right everytime. 5 (or 10) litres of Beer in Bag beer delivered to your door, to me generally within 24hrs. Superb friendly service. This was the latest. Hope to see some of these new ones on the bar after this craziness is over.

In October 2019, my husband and I were on our way to Haydon Bridge, and had a layover in Carlisle. It was late morning and a travel day, so we decided to get a coffee. When we got inside, I saw the taps and thought hmm, may not have another chance to sample the local brews, so I ordered an Oatmeal Stout based on the barista's recommendation. It was from Carlisle Brewing Company. I cannot believe it, but I think that may be the finest stout I've ever encountered. Here I am over a year later, longing for one. Can't wait to be able to come back and try the other brews Carlisle Brewing has to offer!

I have ordered a number of different beer boxes. There's a great variety of beer strengths and each beer has a unique flavour as well as their fresh out of the box real ale character. Delivery is quick and service is efficient with online ordering being straightforward and without mess.
