        only stayed for the one night but wow i was so impressed! nothing bad to say at all. for one, as a solo female traveller i couldnt have been made to feel more comfortable and safe which is no.1 for me. room was lovely and cosy, bed was super comfy, service fantastic! even got my own specific breakfast order taken for the morning :) if i ever find myself in carlisle again i know where im staying! thanks again!

        B & B room was OK but no bedside table or lamp for one of us. Our room did have 2 chairs but all very cramped and en suite quite out of date and in need of upgrade. Very noisy main road right outside our room. No packed lunch available sadly. Breakfast was good and there is a small car park at front and limited on road parking. Staff were OK.
