The parking is a little rough but worth it. Beautiful place to visit with outcrops of rocks to climb on a good walk but not wheelchair friendly and a bit tough at times even for able bodied people.

Follow the winding, rutted lane from the main road, go over a cattle grid and you've arrived. In a field. A lovely field. Park considerately because the farm is busy and there's lots of coming and going of tractors and quad bikes. Keep to one side and leave space for others. The best bit about this car park is you can now walk up to Shaftoe Crags and enjoy the splendid views and scenery. The second best thing is that it's free. There is no down side to this parking area at all. Enjoy
