Little bit slow but not unusual for the type of shop

Not as good as it used to be. It's so busy it's lost its personal touch and good service. I will say all staff are brilliant, I think mistakes are being made as its just too busy. I picked 2 glasses, was left, the guy never came back. Didn't have any advice or opinions like they used too. A mistake was made and my 2 different makes of glasses wasn't ordered properly. They ordered 2 copies of one of the makes. No call to say they arrived, I had to call, and we've now had to pay twice for parking and had to get help from husband to go there for me twice now today. And now will have to do it all for a third time as they wont deliver, despite it being their mistake. I'm not happy and hope it settles down to how good it was. But I don't know if I'll be back to this store, despite it being down the road from me. They have ordered another pair and upgraded them for free (lighter frames etc). But I didn't get to try them on, so I've had to choose them from my husband sending me pictures as I don't know what the original 2nd pair was. I've worked retail and I can see this isn't malice or laziness. I genuinely think this is budget cuts, alot more work load and possibly targets. So I just hope the staff get treated better and the store can improve. EDIT: I would like to add everything that has been done to rectify the mistake has really shown how good the staff and store are. And how much they care. Thank you to Jade for personally delivering my new glasses, the upgrades and the lens cleaners etc. It shows this store cares and I will definitely be sticking with them in the future.
