Matilda Delves Wedding Photography

Booked for our March Wedding in London: Matilda was simply fantastic - a true professional who's kind and smiley nature made all our guests feel at ease and who went above and beyond to capture and convey our happiest day. When looking for our Photographer we knew we wanted relaxed, natural / candid shots of our friends and family enjoying all elements of the day and Matilda met and excelled at that brief. I couldn't recommend working with her more!

Genuinely cant rate or recommend Matilda enough. Shes incredibly professional yet relaxed at the same time, which is exactly the sort of energy you need around you on the big day! We had a winter wedding and the weather was playing up slightly, but Matilda made sure we didnt just leave without the shot, but so many incredible photos. Matilda suggested we go back outside once it was dark and the photos she took are honestly a million times better than anything on my Pinterest board, we are obsessed! Multiple friends and family members also said how fantastic she was, and when it comes to capturing all the special moments during the speeches, her reflex skills are unmatched! Would highly, highly recommend.

Chris and I are more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it. When we were searching for our wedding photographer, our awkwardness in photos was something that was front of mind. One day whilst scrolling through Instagram a beautifully framed candid wedding photo appeared in my feed, I loved it, the snap was captured by the wonderful Matilda! Her candid approach and seeing more photos from previous weddings meant we HAD to have her as our photographer. From the first email to meeting Matilda in person, and the message where she shared all of our final photos she communicated clearly and was beyond brilliant. We had an initial video call where we chatted, she is so lovely, we had a few laughs, and was easy to talk to. On the big day, she made us feel at ease and took us for short periods to capture portraits of Chris and me. Matilda is not only a fabulous photographer, she helped my hair stylist when we were running late and acted as a bouncer when random people wandered into our wedding reception. It goes without saying, Matilda took the best photos of me, Chris our family and friends that weve ever seen! We have had our photos for well over a month now and still cant stop looking at them, they provide perfectly framed windows of joy to remember our big day. We love them all so much. The big moments alongside the quiet ones were so beautifully captured, Matilda was everything we wished for and more. Shes the best!

Matilda is brilliant. We were lucky to have met her at my sister's wedding in France. The photos she took of this beautiful day were incredible and she made us feel so relaxed (I was a bridesmaid!) My sister couldn't have been happier with her photos and by chance we met Matilda at my good friend's wedding just two weeks later! Yet again her photos wowed us. What was lovely is that the venues and brides were so different yet Matilda captured their personalities with expertise. As a result, we decided to ask Matilda to take a few photos of our family. We knew she would do a fantastic job and her laid back approach was exactly what we were after. She managed to get endless smiles from our boys (age 2 and 1!) and make us feel relaxed and happy to go with the flow. The photos were beautiful. We have already ordered prints for our home and can't wait for her to come back to capture our family as our boys continue to grow! She's fab; friendly, chilled, thorough and creative.
