I've been representing Primcura as a Support Worker since the start of this year, Primcura immediately sets itself apart from other agencies within the care sector and they are the go-to agency to be employed with. Some of these areas that set them apart include but aren't limited to; their mobile phone application, rates of pay, enhanced bonuses and the overall professional but friendly atmosphere. This application allows a clear structure of what shifts you've picked up, what shifts are available and your time sheets. It is organized in a calendar format, so it's very easy to see when are where you're working and this is linked to Google Maps to easily find your way to the placement if you haven't been before. It also allows for an availability structure, so you can clearly list days or times you're not available for work. Where possible, Primcura supports people with the flexibility they require. Primcura aims to provide the same staff to certain services where possible, this allows staff to build up a rapport at the service with the different individuals they may support. Some agencies offer mileage pay (which doesn't benefit of you're working close by) and some offer annual leave (which is unnecessary due to the flexibility). Primcura give you a higher hourly rate to offset these and get the best of both worlds, along with being paid weekly. The training is thorough, some is completed online and some that require a more hands on approach (PMVA, First Aid) are completed at the office within Canterbury. All of the staff at the Primcura office are polite, friendly and always willing to help. Primcura offer a referral incentive and other additional bonuses at certain milestones, such as reaching a certain amount of hours or always being reliable and consistent. As a whole I've found my experience of working at Primcura to be very enjoyable and intend to continue working with them for the foreseeable future.
