I only consulted one agent regarding the sale of my late mother's house but I'm confident that I chose the right one & I'd gladly use "Your Move" again. The team were very reassuring that the poor state of the house was not a problem. They acted very swiftly in getting it listed and viewed & kept me fully informed of progress throughout. They were all friendly, helpful and always available on the end of a phone. Steve even made an urgent, 15 mile trip to pick up some of my documents because I was away on holiday! I highly recommend their services.

As a former owner of an estate agency business in the USA responsible for 100's of millions in sales, I was overall disappointed by the team of Bianca, Steve and Rupert Canterbury office in handling a straight forward cash sale with no chain. At times they were fine but when things mattered there was a lack of proactive hands-on approach. We found we had to chase them during the process. It's a responsibility when taking on a listing to know everything there is about the property, management, seller situation and be prepared to relay that information to perspective buyers. These guys are really just in the business of taking the listing on and that's about it- any monkey could do that and in fact a monkey would do better no doubt. If you are a seller and thinking of hiring this firm, pause and really evaluate if its worth it. Update, Jan 6th: Reply to Steve, Branch Manager response to my review: Steve says my review was "unfair" quite the contrary, it is very accurate and I could go into alot of more details. Steve was not involved much at all until the very end, in fact, we asked him to step in weeks before when we were having issues with this transaction. On the day of the completion, we had to call him, just to get the keys to the property- he or his staff should have been more on top of things. Then excuse that, their office did not deal directly with the Seller is a lie, we have emails that prove otherwise. This deal was supposed to close well before Christmas as well. I think this office mostly deals with rentals and maybe they are one of these cut price firms which is why we did not get a top buying experience as anyone should.
