I paid almost 2,000 for the services from Direction Law. Was it worth it? No, it was not! It felt like I was the one doing most of the work. Chasing down the sellers solicitor for information about outstanding enquiries. Only ever really receiving updates from my solicitor after I complained about the standard of service. Would I recommend? It's a definite no from me! Just look at the reviews on here and this should tell you all you need to know!

I'm a First Time Buyer through the Shared Ownership Scheme and Direction Law was my solicitor throughout this process. My experience was fantastic. Both Stephen and Jade were extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful made the process run smoothly, answered all my questions promptly via email, phone and DL portal and communicated well with both Clarion Housing & Censeo Mortgage Broker. The system used to submit documents through Thirdfort was easy and straightforward. Everything went like a well oiled machine with less than 2 months from the first viewing to the day of completion. Thank you for making this important step so easy for me.

All the bad reviews here are true, worst Solicitors I've ever dealt with in my life! I've spoken to quite a few people who have accused this firm of discrimination and racism and we are all putting forward a compliant to the SRA! Law firms like this should not exist!!

Terrible Solicitors - avoid! If I could give 0 stars I would. Please don't use them, they caused me nothing but stress and anxiety the whole time i had to deal with them. They claim 'Exceptional client service constitutes a core value for Direction Law' but this is the worst communication I have ever had with any company in my lifetime. Even though I've completed, there's still lots of emails that went ignored by my solicitor Lyn and her assistant Leah. My emails and calls were ignored and when i escalated to their complaints team, they also ignored me. I even contacted the partners who were not helpful or even apologetic about the terrible service I received. Selling a property is stressful enough without adding a poor solicitor into the equation, who never answers your questions or responds to your emails. Getting updates on where the situation was at in the process was almost impossible, I was left in the dark for much of the time.
