Called up to get some advise from Land Rover parts department and was told it was company policy to not give out part numbers, I worked for Guy Salmon for many years and other Dealer groups and whilst giving out the part number doesnt secure the business as the individual may shop you I feel as a main dealer the first port of call is to provide the best possible customer service. I have a brand new set of brake discs that came with the car and just needed to check the part number against them so I dont spend hours taking them of the and then having to put the back, if they spent the time qualifying me they would of got this information if I had the wrong ones I would of bought them from them rather than some two bob website, if Sam or one of the Barrett brothers more likely after sales manager want to investigate this company policy as Ive spent 20 years working for upper quartile performing retailers and understand how important CSI reports are to the business bottom line. Whilst I dont support these reviews on on google Ive had a bad day and that guy just tipped me over the edge but if it was a avid Land Rover fan and good customer it might of swung them the other way. Dont lose good customers by using poor sales tactics.
