Oh memories of much better days for me as I am now a widow but I was married to my now late husband here in 2002 and I can honestly say that everything was done splendidly by a catering company called Morton s Fork and by arrangements with the Kent County Cricket Club of which we had become members Several senior members of staff whom we had invited attended our wedding in the Pavilion and we were married in an area usually only for players and management to enter.I had so sadly lost my mother the same year and I look at this place watching the cricket in my native Kent as the place that I attended to heal a broken heart and enjoy excellent cricket over several days or twenty twenty as we were there at the start of the latter type of match and the matches were even given the thumbs up by my mother when she was on palliative care for a brain tumour and I was trying to get her privately treated at the neighbouring Chaucer Hospital among other places ...in the preceding year s .My husband died to cancer after a marriage of just over four years caring for him as he was diagnosed with cancer too. This was my place of relaxation and enjoyment and very friendly all around I will always have happy memories of Kent County Cricket Club and fifteen years on often feel like going there alone.Yes I must. Location fantastic Club superb.Cricket great. Remind s me of the song I don't like cricket..I love it...

Superb atmosphere, plenty of walking room around the ground, lots of seating and lots of vantage points. The beer is excellent if overpriced by Shepherd Neame. The floodlights look terrifying to me.
