Often stop here on the way home for the loo and to get ice cream. I don't suggest bringing a wheelchair in unless you're prepared to be very patient and polite, and know when to draw attention to yourself. If you make it as far as the bakery, do stop for cake. Some of the best I've had; trumps Patisserie Valerie on price, taste, and staff attitude

Located next to Canterbury West Station, it has a great collection of seasonal fruit and vegetables, a wide range of fresh fish, and a butchery Also is the location of Crab and Winkle Way, an 8.5 trail for cycling and walking to Whitstable Excellent bus service to and from Whitstable for those who want to only walk one way
