This used to be one of my favourite cafes for lunch, but recently they seem to really struggle to be ready to serve lunch at lunchtime. Id say 8 or 9 times out of 10, when we arrive at a reasonable time for lunch (between 12 and 2), they arent serving food because staff are on break. I know staff need lunch too, but there must be a better way of scheduling things so food can be served at lunch. Other cafes seem to have managed it. If they could figure this out, Id happily turn this three star review back to a five, because I love their vegan sandwiches with the huge bread. Update: This is still happening! Incredible. One star for a cafe that hasnt figured out how to serve lunch over lunchtime - in the window they themselves say it should be available - reliably.

Easy to miss door in the wall but a charming little cafe near to the cathedral. Coffee and cake for me as the kitchen was already closed after 3.
