Lovely welcome from the owner. He showed us to our room which was clean and plenty of toiletries and tea and coffee plus hot chocolate and biscuits,nice fluffy towels. Breakfast was very nice a good choice of cereals, Breakfast was cooked to order nothing was too much trouble. Will be back We were back again to this lovely guest house, as b4 was too much trouble. Food as b4 freshly cooked to order and plenty of it. Will always stay at the Clare Ellen when in Canterbury. Thank you once again

Rooms: Other than the floors, my room was clean, the bedding was good, pillows were a bit old Had a fridge and lots of coffee with partially skimmed milk only. If you like cream; you can get it from Tesco Safety: Felt very safe at all times. The area is like the property itself in that it is a bit tired but for the price acceptable Walkability: This was one of the highlights of Clare Ellen. It was in walking distance to the buses, the train and city Center.

Very friendly and helpful host. He gave us a lot of info about the area. We were with 3 adults, and here we had 3 separate beds, which was great. In all other locations we had a double bed and a couch bed for the 3 of us. Lovely smelling soap, nice breakfast, map of the area, really nothing missing. Quiet street. Great pizza place just around the corner with excellent food.
