Really overpriced for what it is. I had a fried chicken bao bun (pictured) which was 8 for a single bun with one small piece of chicken, that was smothered in a sauce that tasted suspiciously similar to sriracha. The fries were 4 and were essentially just oven chips with a bit of seasoning on top. I had some chicken gyoza on the side which were nice but seemed like they were straight out of a packet. After paying 19 plus service charge, I left still hungry. I get that prices are rising everywhere at the moment, but this was really not up to scratch.

Food was appalling, drenched in vinegar. Even though I had to order and pay at the bar they automatically added a service charge. The bartender/waitress had a funny attitude.

I was looking forward to eating at Outlaw, the reviews and photos of the food lured me and my partner in. I was initially a bit annoyed because I had some cash that I wanted to spend and wasn't allowed, this practice is very irritating, seems to be a growing thing! I paid for the food and drink I ordered at the bar and wondered why it was 6 overpaid ( I wasn't given a receipt) when I went back to the bar to question this I was told it was the 19% service charge I hadn't noticed on the menu. I was a tad shocked as I was going backwards and forwards ordering food and not being served, as such. The manager (I assume) was embarrassed but very gracious and waived the fee, and the rest of the staff were very polite. The food scores 5 '*****, it was extremely authentic, delicious and generous portions. I Will go back to try something else, armed with the knowledge. The practice of charging service in a pub is wrong imo, sorry.
