Shockingly poor service and slow responses to e-mail even after chasing. Kavit did the initial consultation for the power of attorney, but had to be chased to make the final appointment for signatures on many occasions. I'll be seeking a full refund because the job was incomplete due to a lack of professionalism and courtsey. It's a real shame to be treated like this when dealing with critial health issues of family members.

Shandip Shah of Balance consultancy was very professional - and he had the in depth knowledge in the subject matter. He explained all about the wills - guided us and gave us advise on how to write out without losing out. When it comes to explaining to elders - he can be versatile an explain in Gujarati so that everyone is wiser. 10/10 on confidence and confidentiality With respect to POA he has attention to detail and ensures everything is dealt with. He completed all our tasks and ensures all communications. I recommended him and I got more thanks Great work and very reliable Highly recommended

Really poor and unprofessional service from Mr Kavit Shah at Balance consultancy. The process started well meeting my grandma and speaking with her in Gujarati to understand her wishes for her Will. Then it all went downhill after the initial meeting. We did not hear from Mr Kavit Shah until 13 weeks later despite chasing and emailing for updates. After 13 weeks, when we received the initial drafts from Mr Kavit Shah, I was disappointed with the quality of the work, having to point out necessary amendments. Mr Kavit Shah then claimed not to have received an email containing all amendments (which is odd as all previous emails I had sent had been received by Mr Kavit Shah). I presented all these issues with evidence to Mr Kavit Shah, pointing out out his lack of communication and failure to acknowledge emails. I refused to pay for the poor service received. In return I received a childish response from Mr Kavit Shah continuing to dispute all the issues raised. The result of Mr Kavit Shahs complacency and lack of professionalism has ultimately had an impact on my mental wellbeing and that of my grandma. A simple straightforward Will and applications for Power of Attorneys remain incomplete almost six months after our initial meeting. We have now instructed another solicitor to take on my grandmas Will and power of attorney applications.
