Dr. Ali is seriously the best dentist ever! Not only is he super skilled at what he does, but he's also really friendly and kind. Honestly, it's the first time in my life that I don't feel nervous about going to the dentist.

EXTORTIONATE PRICING, OLD EQUIPMENT AND DUBIOUS PRACTICE I'd already filled out their form with all my details and medical questions on arrival at their practice at 1 Handel Parade, Edgware, after having spoke to a Dr Ali on the phone earlier. But in the dentist's room Dr Shah went through all the questions again one by one, I just repeated the answers I'd already written on the form. Seems like a ploy to drag out time to justify the non-refundable 75 fee they charge when you book. After putting an old-fashioned very painful metal sharp-edged contraption for xray into my mouth, the dentist quoted me 1445 for infection treatment on 1 tooth, saying I needed root canal on a premolar. When I said no ill go get a second opinion elsewhere she then - like a desperate used car salesman - tried to pressure me that if I do today I'd get a 100 discount. I've never known a private doctor or dentist behave in this way, trying haggling for money with a client. When it became clear to her I wasn't going to agree to 1445, she then tried to press me to get the tooth extracted for a reduced cost of 650. Again, I said no i'll go get a second opinion elsewhere. My pain was mild, no way did it need any serious action and not at these prices. I then noticed her mobile phone left face up on the counter where i saw she'd been secretly texting our conversation updates to her boss (i presume Dr Ali) on Whatsapp, clearly they were trying to set me up to be ripped off, but failed. I just paid another 30 for the 2 xrays and left. I had the tooth issue resolved at another local dentist for 65 (including xray) the next day in 20 minutes with a simple disinfection and part filling, who also had a modern computerised scanning xray machine with no physical contact and zero pain. That was 4 months ago and my tooth has been fine since. (In fact I'm now spending several thousand with this other practice on previously planned cosmetic work due to their honesty at my first visit). I won't ever be going to Toothi again. Even if the diagnosis was made in good faith, which I doubt, the prices quoted to me were DOUBLE their website price I later found and way above market rates in the area. Then their using outdated equipment, the dentist secretly scheming with the owner on Whatsapp, unprofessionally haggling prices in desperation, and time wasting with duplicate questions is hardly a good service. It was appalling service.

I recently had a dental check-up with Dr. Ali, and I am compelled to share my overwhelmingly positive experience. This was, hands down, the most professional and comprehensive dental examination I have ever received. From the moment I walked into the clinic, I felt welcomed and well taken care of by Gabriela and Dr Ali. Dr. Ali took the time to provide a thorough explanation of the entire process, and he used high-quality photos to show me the current state of all my teeth. His knowledge and skill were evident throughout the appointment, and I felt confident in his ability to choose the right treatment plan for me. Dr. Ali suggested using Airflow technology for my teeth cleaning, which I had never experienced before. I was truly amazed by the results! The Airflow treatment did a fantastic job of removing plaque and stains, leaving my teeth looking and feeling healthier than ever. Throughout the appointment, Gabriela was incredibly helpful and kind. She assisted Dr. Ali efficiently and made sure I was comfortable during every step of the process. Her warm demeanor and attention to detail added to the overall positive experience. I cannot recommend Dr. Ali and Gabriela highly enough. If you are in need of dental care, look no further. I am confident that you will be just as satisfied with their service as I am. I will certainly be returning to their practice for all my future dental needs.
