The action of a member of staff - Ms Jane Jacobs - left an indelible mark on our minds. She could have simply walked away and left mum/dad home alone in a helpless state, but she opted to remain with them until the ambulance crew arrived. Suffice to say, this is the personification of compassion. Kudos all!

Another hellish experience from Bears Transport. Waited from 17.40pm. For Bears Transport. The Controller Michael told me a story. What a great storyteller. Kept me on hold for ages. Claim that the transport was at St.Thomas'. When I rang the second time his story had changed. Three Bears Transport turned up and not one of them came in to keep us in the loop. They stayed outside chatting for at least 30 minutes. Apparently more than one vehicle arrived. Instead of hearing an apology we got the "pity party" driver who went on about not having a break since 10.30am. Well he had at least 30 minutes on us. He also went on to say not to have ago at him for collecting us late. We were taken to transport and then had to wait whilst the other Bears staff went to the toilet. Management returned my call and obviously defended her staff. She said that she would investigate my concerns. Not holding my breath. Today was the hottest day so far so I didn't care for the unnecessary stress. Who on earth is giving out contracts to these transport organisations. Finally arrived home at 20.00pm.
