I registered here when I was between jobs and looking of for either a temporary or permanent solution. I was handed a photocopied (numerous times) form to fill out which had mostly irrelevant boxes to fill out. I had a brief discussion with a consultant and went away hopeful that they would come back with something. I didn't receive a single phone call/email after leaving. I've never worked in recruitment but think if I set up my own agency could do a much better job. Maybe one day I'll do that but thankfully I found a permanent position elsewhere. Recruitment gets a bad reputation... this is why.
