The Malt at Landywood

This was my second visit here, and today I took my 4 year old little niece with me, my pregnant best friend and little sister. The food, as on my first visit was beautiful. As it was a Sunday, they couldnt serve chips for my niece however they did give her some yummy toast potatoes! The staff are wonderful, nothing is ever too much and we were made to feel so welcome from the moment we walked through the doors. I feel awful for not getting our waitresses name, but she was honestly fantastic. She made my niece giggle, and got her talking which is a miracle as shes quite shy in person! The roast lamb was stunning, super tender but so flavoursome. Very generous portion sizes too! The sides of vegetables were yummy, the cauliflower cheese is the best Ive ever tasted. My friend had the spiced cauliflower pie, she loved it. Its next to try on my list! We cant wait to visit again, thank you so much team Landywood!

Really well presented public house and restaurant, has been refurbished to an exceptional standard. Good selection of ales, wines and spirits. I haven't eaten here since it was taken over but according to my fellow guests the food is really nice Parking: Not THAT many spots tbf
