Brown and son builders constructed an outbuilding using blocks and finished with render. They also remodelled the patio, laid new slabs and created an extra raised seating area. They have done a fantastic job, working professionally and efficiently, creating exactly what I had envisaged. They were friendly and worked with us well to make sure we were happy with how the project was going. We will definately have them back for future projects and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy builders. Thankyou brown and son for giving us a lovely outdoor space. We found Brown & Son Builders on the Federation of Master Builders website so we were fairly reassured that their standard of work would be good. When Tim called round to give us a quote for our kitchen to be refitted, he arrived when he said he would and gave us a really competitive price. The work to the kitchen included cutting down an existing window and bricking up, removal of existing kitchen, assembling and fitting of new one, fitting of worktop and levelling and tiling the floor...amongst other things. The whole project took around 2 and a half weeks. I'm always a little nervous about having tradesmen in the house however needn't have been on this occasion. From day one Tim and Jake were fantastic. They turned up on time every day and worked really hard. They behaved impeccably - they were respectful of us, our property and tidied up every day after themselves. They clearly took pride in their work and were happy to advise us on various aspects when we weren't sure. They sourced their own plasterer and recommended a really good electrician for the electrical work we needed doing. At the end of the project when there were a couple of issues (relating to the kitchen fittings and late deliveries, nothing to do with the workmanship) Tim and Jake came out to sort them out with no problem. They were an absolute pleasure to have in the house. They're great guys, completely trustworthy and have done a fantastic job of transforming our kitchen. We would not hesitate to have them back for any future work and are more than happy to recommend them to anyone contemplating using them. Many thanks Tim and Jake!
