I used Wet and High Adventures for my Hill and Moorland Leader award. I chose them because they ran the course on Dartmoor and I knew more about walking on Dartmoor than any other moorland area. The communication was professional and the assessment was booked for April 2019. Although I felt I'd done well in the training and I had done my 20 consolidation days, I wasn't really ready for the assessment. Gwilym was professional throughout the assessment but it was clear that I still had much to learn. In fact I wished I'd done my training with him. I was deferred but during the debrief at the end, I was given some clear, concise feedback on what I needed to do to pass the award next time. I'd planned to go back in 2020 to finish but COVID happened so I only returned for my reassessment in March 2022. Again communication was prompt and professional when booking the extra day. The reassessment day proceeded smoothly and I was able to demonstrate the skills that I'd been working on for the past 3 years. I'd actually done another 21 days on the hill that were worthy of logging in my DLOG. Although assessors on these courses should only give limited feedback during the day, I knew I was doing well. I passed and what a relief that was, a lot of time, money and effort had gone into this award! I wholeheartedly recommend Wet and High Adventures if you want to use a training provider that have a great understanding and knowledge of the requirements of the award and will give you the training you need to pass your award. The assessment will be fair and they will only pass you if you deserve it. If anyone I know in future is looking to do HML or ML then I will recommend them.

I had a fantastic experience with Wet and High Adventures on their Level 3 Education and Training course. Gwilym from Wet and High Adventures ran the course and made the course enjoyable and rewarding. I feel much more confident in planning and running teaching sessions and highly recommend the course

I have completed my ML and have been on a winter skills course with Gwilym from Wet and High. Very clear and patient, I have learnt loads whilst doing my courses and hope to do more with them in the future.
