Great local. Fab bar staff, a good selection of bottled ales and when that runs out, a great pint of Guinness! (they have lagers and ciders too!). Brill quiz on a Wednesday night. And live music with The Shuffle Brothers and others putting on a gig now and then.

This is a proper local boozer with proper local cockneys who are proper nice people who make you feel proper welcome. Pucka quiz night on Wednesday's. I walk an hour to drink in this pub. Well worth the 2hr walk home.
