Booking avoids queuing up. Return tickets are good. The best time is at sunrise or sunset. City Hall Caf offers local vegetable dishes at incredibly reasonable prices. Hot chocolate and vegetable soup with bread are great.

Get a paper or online return ticket. Do not pay oyster or contactless! You will be forced to get off and queue half way. Waste of time and zero useful info at the station! Also give people the option of sharing!! So many cable cars with 1 or 2 people in. Many people happy to share and you would massively reduce your queues. Desperately needs a refresh, sort it out, and get the staff out and telling people to book tickets. Very difficult with young kids or if you're elderly or disabled. Hopeless

This was definitely an experience. Sure, it costs 6 pounds which is not cheap, but the view is incredible. If you have the time to visit the Docklands, then you should definitely take a ride on this cable car.

The cable car is a unique and exciting way to experience the city, especially for tourists or locals looking for a different perspective. It's also a convenient mode of transportation, connecting the Greenwich Peninsula and the Royal Docks. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the cabins are comfortable and spacious. Overall, the Cable Car in London is a great attraction and well worth a visit for anyone looking to see the city from a new angle.
