Booked this pub and took friends here for a Sunday lunch. The food was the worst I've ever had. I ordered triple meat roast and a beef roast with cauliflower cheese and they were disgusting. The meat was thin, only 2 small slices and grey, the veg not fresh and cauliflower cheese bright orange and full of grease. My friend received a cold hunters chicken, wrong sides as mashed potatoe advertised but had run out so they decided to just give her chips instead. We were not the only ones as table of 5 had said they also were very surprised and disappointed with their food and won't be back. Such a shame as pub deco nice, dog friendly and the northern lad behind bar was very nice and helpful. I definitely won't be going there for food again as was a disgrace and such a waste of money.

Nice tasting roast but not big. Still hungry after. Asked for some more potato's and Yorkshire which they offer on the menu but never arrived. Shame

I have been in this place many times for Sunday roast, was great before but today i was very disappointed with beef roast. The beef roast was very chewy, even cant cut it. Beef was not roasted properly.
