Hosted us for a painting workshop and for the rest of the evening. The staff were attentive, lovely and really made us feel looked after. We had an amazing day. Thank you!

We had a great family meal, and the greatest service from Lily and her colleagues. We will be returning! (Our youngest couldnt stop eating the fish, and the Pimms was excellent!)

I love this pub, theyve got everything just right, the decor, the lighting, the separation of the pub and restaurant areas and the staff are great, it is clearly well run. Would previously give 5 stars but the food portions were disappointingly small for the money.

Going downhill fast. This used to be a great gastro pub, but seems to be suffering post covid and the takeover by Youngs. * Severe lack of experienced staff * No visible management * Children screaming in the bar area well into the evening. * Staff chewing gum while serving. * Bar staff more interested in chatting with their friends than serving. * Garden area strewn with dog ends and uncleared tables. * Can't comment on the food, as I've given up eating here. Young's can run their business however they like, but I'd like a pub that you can actually get served a decent pint in! P.S. Much better offering up the road at The Wych Elm.

Firstly. I love the pub and will continue to go there, however was very disappointed in the portion size of the croquettes. Ive been before, firstly had 3 then it went down to 2 but was utterly surprised to now have just one. I think paying .10 something for one coquette is slightly over doing it. Other than that great service
